Professional Bio
Clifford Myers is one of Canada's most relentlessly independent comedic voices — a seasoned stand-up who forged his craft over a decade on the Hamilton club circuit before becoming a homegrown staple across Canadian television, festivals, radio and stage for nearly two decades.
His credits speak for themselves: MTV, TSN, Core Entertainment, Mirvish Productions, SiriusXM, Fantasia International Film Festival, NXNE, Evolve Festival and Just For Laughs Toronto — plus a longstanding residency as a headliner at Absolute Comedy. Along the way, he's shared the stage with comedy heavyweights Steven Wright, Kevin Pollak, Kyle Kinane, Chris Gethard, Brian Posehn and Eddie Pepitone, as well as iconic acts like Our Lady Peace, Collective Soul and Soul Asylum.
Off stage, Myers is a builder. As founder of The Other Comedy Company, producer of The Jokes & Goats Comedy Festival and president of The Canadian Association of Stand-up, Sketch and Improv Comedians (CASC) —his work is driven by a DIY, grassroots ethos rooted in community development, talent incubation and boots-on-the-ground arts advocacy. His corporate and charitable partnerships include The United Way, The Terry Fox Foundation, Mercedes-Benz, ME to WE, JA Northern and Eastern Ontario and the Elementary Teachers Foundation of Ontario (ETFO).
His two independently-produced comedy specials — ODDYSSEY and JOKEBOX HERO— are available now on YouTube and stand as proof of the fervent independent spirit that drives his work.
