Personal & Professional Ethos
Who I Am
I am an ADHD writer, comedian, cultural entrepreneur, and arts advocate. My work is rooted in the belief that creativity is a tool for connection, understanding, and community building. Over the past two decades, I've engaged with diverse audiences, from intimate gatherings to large festivals, diversified my projects across fiends and disciplines, and always aim to foster spaces and environments where people feel seen and heard.
My Practice
My creative endeavours span various mediums—stand-up comedy, poetry, workshops, and community events. Each project is an opportunity to explore the human experience, often through the lenses of humour and vulnerability. I believe in the power of storytelling to bridge gaps and in the importance of creating platforms that amplify all voices.
Values and Intentions
-
Authenticity: Crafting work that is honest and reflective of real experiences.
-
Community: Building collaborative spaces that encourage participation and dialogue.
-
Growth: Actively seeking challenges to learn and develop my skills in real time with real results.
-
Collaboration: Partnering with individuals and organizations that share a commitment to meaningful impact.
Collaboration and Availability
I approach collaborations with intentionality, ensuring alignment in vision and values. While my capacity varies depending on ongoing commitments, I remain open to projects that resonate with my ethos. If I'm unable to participate directly, I'm committed to connecting you with others in my professional network who might be a better fit.
Looking Ahead
For the breadth of 2025 I am focused on The Other Comedy Company, CASC and Jokes & Goats. I enjoy a quiet life with my son in Ontario's Feel Good Town, Cobourg ON, and will travel to connect and work with like-minded builders who value innovation and impact over anything else. You are free to set up a coffee chat if you would like to connect.
